Properties: The blade of this falchion is crafted of black cold forged iron, and the shaft warm to the touch, and covered with sigils of Efreets and red and orange flames that occasionally flare as if they were real flame. In combat, the blade roars to life. It burns like a red dragon’s tongue might, flaming scarlet and orange, and the tip exhales a thick spiral of black smoke.
When held allows the bearer to speak with Efreets in their own language. This weapon was created to fight the djinn and grants a +2 to attacks on them. Djinn will instantly recognize the weapon, and attack the wielder.
As an action, you can speak the falchion’s command word to cause flames to erupt from the blade. The flames emit a bright light in a 20-foot radius. The flames last until you speak the command again. Attacks made while it is flaming deal an extra 2d6 fire damage.
